Purpose

Art Success Studio was created to address a gap in support for elementary students who struggle to participate fully in the art classroom due to fine motor delays, behavior challenges, or difficulty with multi-step processes. This artifact provides a 6-week, scaffolded intervention plan that art teachers can implement with minimal prep and maximum impact.

The artifact includes:

• A 6-week small group instructional plan (Foundations, Skills in Action, Creative Confidence)
• Visual supports and tools for classroom use
• A storyboard and visuals for training or implementation
• A printable Word/PDF document
• A PowerPoint/Google Slides storyboard with narration guidance
• A reflection journal prompt and family engagement tools
• Assessment tools (observation checklist, exit slips, student self-assessment)
